Orochimaru used EdoTensei on Yondaime Kazekage?

The only way he would know this is if Orochimaru used the technique during their encounter...resulting in his death. Am not sure if he summoned the 3 coffins because he'd have known the 3rd one wouldn't work....Maybe he had other edo's at his disposal...Just my speculation though...

Either Orochimaru used it against him.. Or , when he told the Kazekage he planned on waging war against Konoha, he told him of the special jutsu.. the former seems more likely imo

I doubt it, he most likely heard of Oro's prowess. Let's not forget he's a Sannin so it's possible.

That doesn't explain how the fouth knew orochimaru possesed the jutsu. I am aware, my point is if he used his summons he would've known innately that the 3rd coffin would work.

Couldnt be prowness when he neverwas never shown to use the justu before his fight with sarutobi.

Strange thought that Hashirama nor tobirama seemed to have recognized that Oro was the wielder when they were summoned against Sarutobi...unless our premise is true but he used them as puppets instead of giving them a consciousness as during the Hiruzen fight.

oro has no reason to go around bragging about how he has edo tensei. hiruzen didnt know till oro showed it to him. and oro only used it because he wanted to torture hiruzen with fighting his masters.
so its likely that 4th had to fight against nidaime kazekage
