The dislike/like thing did work to an extent, however some ignorant members had indeed liked troll post which I find uncanny.. Reporting only does so much like I've noted already, the dislike feature disabled viewing of the OP's post.

The dislike button hides the ignorance of which the troll has done, the users of NB can choose to view the post, however the dislike feature blocked it out if 10 dislikes (I believe) were implemented onto the OP.

Yes, but reporting the said threads could take hours to be taken down (if the mods aren't on or are away from their computers) in which the dislike feature could/would indeed help the situation.

Indeed they will result in making more threads, in which the act will be repeated.. The Disliking feature would solve the issue temporarily, but not permanently.

Why didn't you put this in the Questions and Suggestions section where Mods and Admins are visiting regularly, but anyways it's a valid point you have there although the report button can do that job fine with no concern.

Hm, you make an also valid point. I shall do that now, also the report button is indeed useful, but to temporarily disable viewing the OP the dislike feature was greatly supportive in ending the problem.
