will they capture people for edo tensei

or could they possibly be ready for summoning. Orochimaru's trump cards. maybe during his attack on the hidden leaf, these bodies were still being modified like how Madara was

I agree, I mean for now Only Kabuto had the Edo Tensei but it was proven an ineffective jutsu to those able to counter it effect// Orochimaru I think is looking for more power, But in a new host... I believe that he has turned Sasuke into some kind of student.... If they did become sacrifices I doubt that wouldn't be a fight to see.... A nice two on two rumble.
