we know he can summon tracking dogs. it'd be cool if he could also summon a pack of attack dogs when he's engaged in combat or if he summoned the alpha male of the dogs, their leader

Kakashi's ninkens can attack too,he mentioned that.And I don't think there is an alpha male,but we can assume that Pakkun fulfill this role as he is called more often. Ninkens are not like the toads and snakes summons don't get confused.
