He also did a tech (Water Prison Technique) which pwned Kakashi and required Naruto and Sasuke to save him. Zabuza was a beast, but like every other villain character he was only displayed long enough to show character development within the series.

I shall quote myself from the other thread. Zabuza was S-Rank because Kakashi classified the mission A-Rank after the 2 first Ninja which he defeated. But Zabuza was in the Anbu Bingo Book which made him an S-Rank criminal. Do not make the mistake of confusing the mission rank with Zabuzas rank. And also do not rank Zabuza based on his techs. A ninja is as strong as his Tai/Nin/Gen Jutsu and his physical body. And do not compare him to the criminals in the manga or anime now. What chance would've Kakashi or Naruto or Sasuke if pain would've shown up in the episode? Be serious he was a development character. First big enemy but in my opinion he was S-Rank at the time.

Dude Zabuza is S-rank -_-. Kakashi said it was an A-rank mission because some people were aiming for the life of the bridge builder, however he didn't know that they were up against Zabuza.

It's not because his sword has no special abilities, unlike the other swordsman, that he's weak. I once read that Kishi would have done everything different in that arc when he was further in the manga. Also if you saw Chojiro thinking about Zabuza in the last chapter, it looks like he considers himself weaker than him.

Also Kakashi had to rest I think two days to recover from his battle with Zabuza.

you just say that because he was the first villain being killed. Even now he would be a treat to kakashi. Kakashi's only advantage now is his MS, otherwise teh situation would be pretty much teh same

No youre wrong. his best tech is his Giant Vortex Jutsu which is A-rank
