Game companies to partner up with Japanese manga publisher Shueisha to create online game for web browsers.

Anime and manga fans can expect an online MMORPG based on the Naruto series to pop up soon.

According to Game Spark (via SGCafe), China-based online gaming company Tencent Games made a deal with Japanese manga publisher Shueisha and video game publisher Namco Bandai for the rights of the upcoming game's development and distribution. The upcoming title will be playable on web browsers and is developed by More Fun Studio, Namco Bandai, and CyberConnect2 (Asura's Wrath, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series).

The game is scheduled for a 2013 release and will be available on Tencent's gaming portal. The publishers did not announce on whether the game will be published outside of the Chinese market. For more news on CyberConnect2's upcoming Naruto title, check out GameSpot's recent coverage.

It appears it is only for China...but y know...the same was for Dragon Ball Online...until the english patch came out of course

Yes, the game is a web one, but a “full MMORPG experience” was promised. 1 of Tencent’s many development teams, More Fun Studio, will be developing the game together with Namco Bandai and another Japanese developer, CyberConnect2.

In an effort to boost the company’s new manga department, Tencent also signed the official manga distribution rights in China for 11 titles under Shueisha, including Gintama, Katekyō Hitman Reborn!, The Prince of Tennis, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragonball, One Piece and of course, Naruto. It is certainly a rare deal, given that companies in China have been illegal using images from manga as promotional materials all these years.

....from what are y writing if y dont have a pc mate?...Nuh,i dont want to know..but yea,kekkai genkais must be hard to obtain...like in all mmorpg..first y would be a simple ninja no tech and then after lvling, y could achieve a rank,and probably know a jutsu or 2...
