I'm a fool! (One Piece)

I used to talk so much crap about One Piece and I judged it without giving it a try. I started it about three weeks ago and it's frickin amazing!
I always talked about how the characters looked so disformed and stupid, but there are explanations for that. Devil fruits, fishmen, or just plain ol' ugly, etc.
Oh yeah, and the characters have sooo much personality. Luffy and Zoro are the coolest of em all though.
Can't say whether Naruto or One Piece is better, but both of them are top-notch anime so who cares?
If you are like how I was and belittled OP, please give it a try. It's a beast and grand adventure.

same for me, i started a couple of months ago and saw all the episodes but i dont read the manga because i dont want to spoil myself and the moving picture version is better!fights are good like luffy vs blueno but to be honest, i think naruto(a little) and bleach fights are better

OP is definitely the best of the major shounen right now (OP, Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail), IMO. The character development and such is top-notch. Great show.

Ehh don't know, but I'm on episode 535. I skipped a crap load, but I read what I needed to on wiki. The Skypedia arc dragged on too long for me. Also, I skipped the episodes about Brook or the robot becoming Straw Hats.

You gotta admit the fillers in One piece are superior to Naruto, has so much depth and plot and the less flashback is always welcomed too

i love one piece and its great you gave it the chance it deserves and i love the art work its just one of the greatest art styles in manga history

one piece funfact: did you know sanji was going to be called naruto but because naruto was about to be serialized he chose not to, to avoid confusion

Baroque works and Alabasta, you mean? I didn't skip that arc and I'm glad I didn't. There are many significant things you need to learn from that arc for the long run. Anyway, enjoy it! :D

lol the only time i judged one piece badly was when it was advertised on toonami and by the time it started i gave it a shot and loved from day one and got all the way to sanji arc where it ended
