Sasuke as of recently vs. Itachi

As of the aftermath of the Raikage fight with Sasuke, many have wondered how well this new Sasuke would have fared against Itachi. Now suppose they are both healthy, not blind, and well. Who would have won?

Please...No Sasuke haters, nor Itachi lovers in this thread. Don't say things like, "Itachi would win because he pwnz all.", because first off... pwnz makes you sound kinda geeky (IMO), and second, there is no thinking in it.

I am an Itachi fan over Sasuke, but I do not hate Sasuke. So no flames about my views on either one of them either. Sasuke adds plot, Itachi is very cunning and has things set up well.

Please state why you chose that character, use simulated fight summaries and whatever else you please.

I think as of now it would be Sasuke. He has taken Amaterasu to new levels, which Itachi couldn't. He has a fair amount of techniques that Itachi uses, plus his lightining techniques. Kirin being one of them. Also, whatever this "dark chakra" is, it seems to be quite potent.

I would have to say Itachi, While sickly itachi was able to use Susano'o to a great enough extent to kill orochimaru. I feel Sasuke would not be fast enough to dodge Susano'o. Itachi is a better planner and strategist also a great fighter(shikamaru+sage mode naruto)LOL. While Sasuke lately has shown little to none plaaning abilities. Sasuke has less chakra then itachi and will tire alot faster then itachi, were sasuke is dependent on his sharingan Itachi uses only when necesity call.

Itachi hands down. A fully healty Itachi vs. the Sasuke we see now in the manga? Think abotu the fact that only Itachi had the mirror plus sealing sword so Sasuke no matter how good he is with Amaterasu he would get owned. And this hotheadedness from Sasuke makes it really easy for Itachi to exploit Sasukes feelings. Sorry guys but no way Itachi would lose to Sasuke in an all out kill or be killed battle.

Itachi would have won if he was health because he had more training, and understanding of the powers that Sasuke just learned, but you have to remember that if Itachi was still alive then Sasuke would not be where he is today.

itachi will still win sasuke may be able to do fancy stuff with amaterasu but he has not caught up to itachi yet he cant fully control susano'o as yata's mirror should repel All attacks and he hasn't used the sword of tostoku (excuse my spelling) and if he was able too it would have been necessary to kill the mizukage (before zetsu saved him from becoming a pile of sasuke pudding)

I would say itachi....yes I like itachi very much and I hate sasuke for his selfish thinking....but first...sasuke got almost everything from itachi...altough he shaped amateratsu and improoved some things....the original stuff is always better...you cannot cover a beatles song and say that you're doin' it better...if you understand what I'm sayin':P,,and something else....you saw how sasuke fought against raikage...always attacking head on...with no thinking...that's not what itachi would do...he was always calm and tought about things clear...that only can decide a fight...and appearently he could't teach sasuke that....so that's my opinion..itachi beein' heathy is almost invincible....beating deidara and orochimaru with one move....is something really big....no one could have done that

No... I'm talking about a bottle not a sound effect. Itachi's Susano'o summoned the Totsuka sword from a bottle (shaped like Gaara's gourd). That bottle stays on the end of the sword. Sasuke's sword doesn't have this bottle, meaning the sword isn't Totsuka.

i believe sasuke has the potential to become better than itachi, but at the current time, i dont think he'll stand much of a chance.. itachi knows his techniques better than anyone else.. and hes smart enough to figure out how to counter them.. not to mention sasuke's susano is incomplete.. and he still can't use it to its full potential.. i think if itachi was at full power, and healthy, he would definately defeat sasuke.. the mind games being the biggest help IMO..

btw, while writing this, i was wondering.. how did itachi get sick?? he's just been known to have a disease.. i wonder if EVERYTHING was staged..

it would depend on how big the difference between the ill itachi and the healthy itachi is, and how much curse seal strengthens sasuke's jutsus.
in the battle we saw sasuke win every clash of two attacks. his katon was stronger, he broke tsukuyomi with his own genjutsu and was was at least as skilled as itachi in using weapons. if he would be still able to do that without cs against a healthy itachi, he could force itachi to use ms and after that attack him with his ms which would lead to an easy win.
if it was the other way round, itachi would win.


@susano's sword i am not quite sure weather it is totsuka or not, but dont forget that part of it's hilt were in the smog when sasuke used it. second the bottle is used to imprison people who are hit by it, which wasnt necessary when sasuke used it.

I'd expect him not to tire out quickly and use more MS techniques etc. Zetsu did make the comments that Itachi's movement were not the same as usual and were rather sluggish. Genjutsu is a tie and although Sasuke has Amaterasu and can wield it better, they both would have most likely switched to Susanoo if it came to it. The Totsuka Sword and Yata's Mirror of Itachi's Susanoo would've crushed Sasuke's version since it currently incomplete and lacking legendary weaponary. It is Itachi's Susanoo that is the real key to beating him and only a few would be able to get past it.

Well I'm sure that Madara can teleport within it, Zetsu can morph from right under it, Minato can teleport as well if he managed to tag Itachi before hand and Pain could use Chibaku Tensei to trap till Itachi runs out of Chakra or suffocates. It's not unbeatable.
