Do you think summoning the Death god was the key meaning of the scroll? Oro (well sasuke) was reading it while summoning the Hokages but something tells me their is more to be unraveled. thoughts?

I think there's more to it, if that was it's only purpose there wouldn't be need to draw so much attention to the scroll and he wouldn't be explaining it to sasuke, i think that summoning the shinigami was just the first stages of what the scroll is used for

That is what i was thinking... but we could be wrong lol (I find it strange that A Uchia scroll had an uzumaki jutsu on it lol) it does sound like the uchia were up to something with that scroll

It seems to me he was thinking back to looking at the scroll while Orochimaru was performing the ceremony. He wasn't reading in that panel.

It doesn't seem so .... Nothing points to that right now.... In the panel they show the scroll (in flashback style) and it's shows the RDS , and how to reverse it.

I doubt it is... because Suigetsu said with this the war can be won?

Maybe that scrolls includes other ways of using the shinigami masks for even better sealing purposes...or maybe it has something to do with the sage of six paths techniques....since it was with an uchiha but also related to the uzumaki clan......i think it contains details about the reaper seal which the fourth didn't know.....oro basically has the habit of studying every jutsu ti the core.....,so his efforts may have led himto that scroll and after he was apparently killed sasuke searched his hideouts and retrieved that scroll....

Well I think you are both right and wrong.

I think you have mixed something up. The scroll is not an Uchiha thing. The tablet is. So far they have only used the scroll which is Orochimaru's.

But I think you are right on the fact that what Suigetsu was referring to was not what we have seen so far because Suigetsu didn't want Orochimaru to be revived. However, no Orochimaru means no Kages because Sasuke doesn't know Edo Tensei. So how could they control the war or anything if they just let the souls free??
