well...for one, he already knows what they knew and wanted...so it makes sense that sasuke would want all aspects of the history and who better than the kage, he now might have access to all info pre hashi to the year he was born. bringing back his parents wouldnt make sense...plus oro isnt that nice, it was obvious since he came back it seems thatd he would want his arms....ims sure sasuke will have to repay somehow.

This is a good question. I think Sasuke is desperate to find out what is going on; things his parents might not know. Itachi did not stay for Sasuke. The scroll is what sparked Sasuke's interest and he wanted to free the kage's even if it meant giving up his life to Orochimaru.
