Show me the manga page that depicts Obito being scared. (Hint: You can't)

    Just, lol.

I also laugh at how you have completely taken a u-turn on your stance after saying this:

If that's how you really feel, then stfu and stop arguing. You're wrong anyway.
I'm not retracting my statement you idiot, Minato escaped Obito's Kamui, so it should have been obvious who's Kamui I was talking about since their is a vast difference between the workings of the two Kamui. But you would obviously call me out on a technicality when you know I'm right!

    Kakashi's Kamui is sh!t against Obito's! There are two Kamui's! Dumbas$.

Obito running away while his arm was dripping from his sleeve is a sign of fear.

Hashirama would probably beat Hiruzen and Minato at the same time.

His plan was to exploit his heart and he knew Minato would kill himself?! So Obito knew that Minato couldn't live without Kushina and he'd kill himself?

I wouldn't necessarily call that outsmarting...He took advantage of a positive quality that Minato has, namely, his love for his family. Love is certainly a weakness, and sure it's intelligent to take advantage of it, but just because Minato loves his family doesn't mean Obito is smarter than him for taking advantage of that. In a fair battle, where Obito does not have Minato's family to hold over his head, Minato in my opinion would defeat Obito, as we saw in their short battle, before Obito went back to exploiting Minato's love.

As to the thread itself, I do not agree simply because there is no proof that Hashirama wasn't a genius himself. In fact, I would say he kind of has to be. He was a great leader, an amazing ninja, and created an entire village through diplomacy. Hashirama I believe was also incredibly intelligent, on top of being crazy powerful.

No bro, he means Obito was counting on Minato sacrificing himself with Shiki Fuujin which is complete non sense. He has abandoned all facts and logic and is just spouting garbage now.

looooool. Obito predicting that minato would kill himself isnt much different than your "naruto is minato's plan" argument but that's not my point. Point is he knew he wasnt a match for minato battlewise, so he had to be cunning, and taking a mans infant child and wife couldnt be more cunning.
LMFAO your actually trying to turn your arguments against me? what a fail....obito didnt predict anything genius. He knew minato would save his family over going after him, this is obvious, & there was no predicting involved. Of course plans dont always go accordingly but thats why you have a trump card, (& obito's was kurama). Face facts, you look like youre wearing thin

It's impossible to predict that Minato would die sealing part of the Fox in Naruto. Minato in fact could have survived and continued to raise Naruto if he had so chosen. The entire situation was circumstantial.

Why did Obito attack the Leaf again? Wasn't it to take control of the 9 tails? Because if that was the case, then he certainly didn't outsmart Minato, it would be the other way around. Minato managed to keep the 9 tails out of Obito's hands, all due to his own quick thinking. Sure, it ended in his death, but Obito did not go to the Leaf to kill Minato, he went for Kurama. So he failed, and in no way "outsmarted" Minato.

WHAT THE F**** ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?? GO LOOK UP THE SYNONYM FOR THE WORD "PREDICT" THEN COME BACK AND TELL ME WHERE I SAID IT OR SAID SOMETHING EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO IT.

obito knowing that minato would die for his family isnt a prediction its f***ing fact. NAME ME 1 PERSON WHO WOULDNT DIE FOR THEIR FAMILY? I do remember Tobirama using his brains to solo the Uchiha Clan.
And he incorporated the Chuunin Exams.
    And ANBU.
And the Konoha Military Police Force.

I forget what else, but with the Chuunin Exams alone he prevented the most potential wars out of any Hokage, by far.
Talk about looking into the future.

Bold is still wrong, he couldnt upset the balance of bijuu and jinjuriki you said it yourself

2nd bold, uhh... he saved his son over his wife, which is entirely understandable. Would you not do the same if given a similar ultimatum?

3rd bold, I didnt say obito predicted anything.....i said obito KNEW that minato would rather save his family than deal with him

4th bold, lol is that why obito is still alive now while minato is an edo? your missing the point, as soon as obito summoned kurama to konoha everything it did was his fault, it wasnt kurama's fault hes just a mass of hatred at this point. Its like the owner of a pitbull taking it off of its leash in a dog park filled with poodles. Whos responsible, the dog or the owner?

But he did basically strip them of all possible influence they could have gained over time:

As supported by the databook, which states he helped the Senju Clan gain influence in Konohagakure:

Obito's motive was to destroy the Leaf, I just read over this section of the manga. However, he did not, and in great part due to Minato. I do not understand how the last reason even makes sense (how does the attack instigate the massacre?!) but that doesn't matter. Lastly, Obtio did not attack with the purpose to kill Minato either, you are incorrect there as well. He purposefully separated Kushina from Minato so that he would avoid a confrontation. He clearly feared Minato in battle.

And finally, I believe the entire premise of your argument is false. You say that if Minato was smarter than he would have been able to do everything?!? That's plain ignorance. If you look over the manga in this section, there was NOTHING Minato could have done better to defend the Leaf and his family at the same time. Obito had ALL of the bargaining chips. If Minato saved his family, the Leaf would lose countless lives. If Minato saved the Leaf (which he chose) then he might have to sacrifice his family (which happened). You cannot say that just Obito was the reason the situation resulted as it did, that he is smarter than Minato.

An easy example is this. If I am holding a gun to the children of the presidents family, and in my other hand I have a button which I can press to destroy part of the nation, does that REALLY mean that I am smarter than the president? No. Not at all. In the way Minato handled the situation, we see a bountiful amount of quick thinking and intelligence. Obito had months and maybe over a year to plan his attack. Minato managed to stop Obito's main goal of destroying the Leaf while still managing to maintain political stability (maintaining the balance of the power of the tailed beasts).
