It makes sense. Both the Byakugan and Sharingan are derived from the Rinnengan so it seems reasonable that the Byakugan would have some ability to read the tablet.

The byakugan needs to get alittle action anyways. It has been kinda neglected. It seems kishi favors Sharingan too much. Since they are the main Dojutsu's in the narutoverse.

You'd think Madara would've mentioned that. In fact he hasn't mentioned the Byakugan in any capacity during his history lessons. Byakugan importance to the plot has sure been neglected

I think the byakugan is being neglected so when it does make its major entrance it surprises everyone
