[Discussion] Will Luffy ever have a fight

which will last for more than a day? For example: Ace and Jinbei fought for 5 days and Akaini and Aokiji fought for 10 days. So would you like it if Luffy &/ Zoro fought for over a day? They certainly have the stamina and are durable enough to.
I hope that BB and Luffy's battle goes for a few days straight, and especially the match between Zoro and Mihawk.

I know plot may not allow this but it'll be awesome if it does.

He technically fought Crocodile for about two days(multiple matches). I think him vs Blackbeard will last for days too. Him vs Akainu, oh boy.

as much as i luv watching luffy fight or kick akainu's ass its not gonna happen for more that a day
bcos all of luffy's techniques are stamina draining tech....even with haki when luffy uses gear2 or gear3 it'll put strain on his body
also luffy is not the kind of guy to analyse and slowly weaken the oponent .....he is more of a bang "i'm gonna kick your a$$ out of here"

but it could happen with zoro and mihawk ....just my opinion

Yeah I guess that's true. Especially if he gear stacks, then he'll be in for some serious side-effects.
I actually think that Mihawk and Zoro will be the most close combat and brutal fight since they only use swords. I don't think we'll see that much air cutting techniques.

You people are underestimating the admirals too much, i'm sure Luffy will probably be the strongest character at the end of the series but it doesn't mean he will fight Akainu or Kizaru, this isn't Naruto and Luffy doesn't care about revenge, if he sees Akainu fine but he won't seek him out personally.

But Akainu killed Ace and wanted to kill Luffy but he escaped so I'm sure once they meet again Akainu will attack him and Luffy will fight back.

about that.. Luffy still has to get stronger.. I mean, everyone might think he's pretty strong now because Haki etc. but compared to the others - he would get owned in an instant

But his fight with BB will be the fight that'll decide who is Pirate King. Meaning that's basically the fight where the winner becomes strongest character ever. So that should also last a few days.

I also believe Blackbeard is the last and final villian. Oda might have hinted something when BB and Luffy met for first time back at that town.

not sure if that was stated. but even if its true, it's not the same as if he fought 2-3 days against someone stronger.. an admiral example.
