Orochimaru's gonna be a ***** to kill now. Theory

This is 100% my theory, I've not bothered to read others opinions on the matter so no accusations of plagiarism please

If there was ever any doubt in him being the last villain, this should hopefully help clear stuff up.


This isn't an Orochimaru's top ten thread, it's my theory that recent developments in the story have led to Orochimaru becoming not necessarily unkillable, but pretty dam close. Please no rage, I'm not some Orochimaru fanboy overhyping a new power up, I'm just stating what I think. In fact, I've always put him down as one of the weaker characters of Naruto, but after several significant developments he has definitely become something to fear to the characters in Naruto.

During his research on Jūgo's clan, Orochimaru eventually tracked down the source of their power when he discovered the Ryūchi Cave and senjutsu. It is assumed that here he was trained by the White Snake Sage in senjutsu and attempted to learn how to use Sage Mode. However he was unable to use this power to its full potential due to being unable to find a host body that could bear such an ability, making it an unsuitable option for battle altogether. But! after absorbing Kabuto's full knowledge of Sage mode, add to that a body more than capable of harbouring the curse mark (Possibly suspending sage mode indefinitely), that has the younger son's cells (That is also the First's clone, can you find a body more capable?)and Mokuton in it, throw in four Edo Kage (One of which happens to harbor half of the nine tails chakra) and Zetsu's spore cloning ability and,well ****, I feel sorry for anyone in this guy's way.


All of this is in Orochimaru's hands, he definitely seems to hold most of the cards and we haven't even seen the scope of what he could do before he lost his arms. The spore cloning ability practically makes him unkillable (Imagine hundreds of Orochimaru clones), along with the fact that Zetsu can absorb chakra and give it to others. It's quite coincidental that Kabuto has the one sure fire thing to kill him as he stands now, Kabuto states that he crated a drug that could baisicly destroy Zetsu and...oh Orochimaru appears to of just hopped into one!

I kinda think that Kabuto will be Orochi's end.

Any counter arguments or just general input to my theory?

Very interesting. This is assumed he has the abilities of zetsu. I actually asked was it possible that Orochimaru possesses senju dna, although of course my thread got closed for reasons I will keep to myself.

Although, I wouldn't want him dying.
He's a guy that knows so much, and could change the plot so easily with his vast knowledge of things haha.
If I were Kishi, I'd let him live just for a back-up plan that he wants to change the story xD

There are no more Curse Marks for him to hide in and later be resurrected which means if you kill him this time, he's not coming back.

The Yin chakra was in Minato. Since Minato is no longer inside the death god, neither is the chakra.

Orochimaru can give anyone and everyone the curse mark if he so wishes

Orochimaru is not dying. There is no reason to kill him and recently I have been led to believe he is walking a different path.
