Therefore, you cant really say that Hashirama let him escape. I really dont think he would let go a man that tried to kill him, not without interrogation.

I'm surprised people are debating this. Itachistyle himself is a troll who thinks the 2nd Mizukage can solo Hanzo, both Raikages, Tsunade, Kakuzu, Kisame, Sasori, and much more.

I said "for all we know" that's what happened... in response to someone else claiming "he fought the 1st Hokage!" as a feat for him. It's not, because we know nothing more than he survived an attempt to kill the 1st Hokage (which failed).

Im not saying that it was a feat, but there is also no basis to say that Hashi let him go.

Look what a single Fuuton attack from attack did. [1-2] The blast radio of this would easily be able to repel any mist she tries to put up, along with being a good counter. Even the Databook compares the attack to a natural disaster [3] The Mist would have no way of staying up.

The Lava techniques would also be countered through either the immensely powerful blasts of the Pressure Damage, or through Kakuzu's Water Release (which he had, Databook fact [4] He could also simply just dodge it, by entering his Long Range mode [5] forcing Mei to keep her distance, allowing him to dodge every attack she throws in his way.

People really tend to forget the fact that Kakuzu has this mode, which is incredibly useful when dodging, as seen when he easily jumped this far in the air. [6] The only attack she might be able hit him with would be the Water Dragon, which would be negated by the Earth Spear. She's not destroying something as hard as diamond with a blast of water.

People here also seem to assume that Mei will just be attacking while Kakuzu spends his time dodging every one of her attacks. This is obviously not true, she'd have to go through the trouble of defending against immensely fast and powerful attacks, which would result in a OHKO if the hit (and judging by the fact that Mei hasn't shown any decent speed feats, I doubt she'd be able to dodge attacks like False Darkness, while it's speed is said to be similar to one of a lightning bolt [7] She'd have to be dodging elemental blasts from 4 directions at once, while avoiding getting hit by Kakuzu himself, who has shown very impressive speed feats and strength [8-9] [10]

The fact is, that Kakuzu, while being one of the most OP characters is one of the most underrated characters on this base, as shown by the fact that people seem to think that he'd lose to someone like Mei. Not trying to downplay her, but there's no way she's beating Kakuzu.

She have fire elemet take care of his futon if dauri can combine to ninjustu together why not mei sution combine with acid mist take care of his hearts lava beats his earth she beats him in all elemental battle he can do shes not mizukage for no reason :sy:

lol it wasnt aim at kairn but its a wide justu so it was going hit her you cant dodge her lava its go up in the air 30 ft then its wide so you cant dodge unless your super fast sasuke had to do sasunno to live

your acting as if mei would be the first to atack put her on defense what can she do from a direct ligthning or wind or earth or even fire attack such as false darkness searing migraine pressure damage or his earth style attack plus ( in anime only) he has water style as well and dont forget monster mode but i doubt it would come to that

The only earth tech he's actually shown is his stone skin. That's not going to prevent him being thrown like a rag doll by Mei's water dragon attacks, nor will it help him breath underwater. Elemental balance only matters if the attacks are comparable in scale, and we've seen no evidence Kakuzu's are on Mei's level. The Futon he used isn't even close to the Water Dragon Mei does. Nor can we just grant Kakuzu other earth techs because it suits your argument.

If Kakuzu survives being thrown around like a puppet, and half drowned in the process, Mei can then finish him off when she has an opening with Lava to the face (and we have no evidence at all his stone skin will allow him to survive lava). End fight.
