Rasengan or Chidori?

Not a thread about which is better than which! A thread about which would you prefer, one or two reasons and done.
Both are great, badass and useful. So no hating.

I personally love Rasengan, since you can control whether or not you kill your oponent, whereas Chidori is kind of a killer move no matter how you see it, unless you miss the vital spot of course, like Sasuke in VOTE.

Unless by variations you mean different shapes, in which case you'd be perfectly right.

Assuming I get all of the Chidori variations: Chidori.
1) Chidori moves so fast and hard to dodge.
2) I could choose not to kill people with Chidori stream
3) I would have better range with chidori sharp sprear
4) I love lighting style ninjutsu!

Personally, I think the name just sounds better. Also, hitting someone with a rasengan may either leave a blast or push people away. While Chidori mostly immobilizes people if they didn't already die from it.

Chidori is great, but I'm more of a Rasengan person.

One cool thing about Chidori is the fact that usually you make seals for it. I like seals. In fact, Rasenshuriken should have seals, as it is quite the advanced elemental ninjutsu.
