book series recommendations
I need some new book series to read but I;m not sure which I should read. I've read Harry Potter, Inheiritance Cycle, Percy Jackson books, Lorien Legacies so don't recommend those

Re: book series recommendations
If action and good narration is your thing then you should check out the Young Samurai series. Other than that, Time-Riders is totally awesome.

Re: book series recommendations
I can't read Lord of the Rings due to it being too boring. I do love the movies

Re: book series recommendations
Based on those you listed, I'm going to recommend the Pendragon series. It's definitely fantasy like all of those, but it's a bit more sci-fi too. And just a heads up: the series is ten books long.

Re: book series recommendations
That Time Riders series seems pretty aawesome. It's okay that it has ten books in the Pendragon series. I love series with a lot of books

These recommendations are solid choices, good quality books that are really quite well done.
In line with those:
- Keys to the Kingdom by Garth Nix
- The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
- Chronicles of the Necromancer by Gail Z. Martin
- The Heir Chronicles by Cinda Williams Chima
- The Seven Realms by Cinda Williams Chima

Currently my favorite series, be aware that all but one (I think) is over a thousand pages.
Also, there are many actions that occur that you may or may not be comfortable with.
It's also very important to read them carefully and stay focused with the series.

Re: book series recommendations
The Ranger's apprentice. If you like Percy Jackson, you'll probably like this. The books read very easily (they're for younger kids, but meh) and the story builds slower than percy jackson, since there are around 8 books if I'm right.

I'm reading The Mortal Instruments series, it's a pretty interesting modern fantasy series, it has its moments.

I thought the first book was excellent, but I didn't like the rest of them at all. Good book, bad series.

A song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin (Great books, indeed!)
The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan ( I didn't read these books, but lot of people highly recommend them.)
