Edo Tensei explanation

Everyone keeps saying that the edo tensei makes the user stronger or a top tier ninja but I just don't understand how I mean I've always felt like it was a great tactic as far as winning a battle and not actually having to be involved and taking damage it greatly increases the users chances of survival but I jut don't understand how it makes someone a better ninja like their genjutsu taijutsu or ninjutsu doesn't get any better. Like I said they're hella smart for using it but its still someone else's power so how is the caster any stronger? Someone please clarify for your boy please

edo tensei is s rank ninjutsu..so yea some1 who uses it is a top tier ninja ^^

Think of Shikamaru and his dad, they are both geniuses who use tactics to win fights. They are both considered very strong because of this. It's the same with someone using edo tensei it's not like it improves them physically but since it is considered a tactic, it would reflect on how strong they are mentally

It won't make the ninja himself become a stronger ninja, but it's a part of his power nonetheless. For example, people say that Naruto beat Gaara, while he wouldn't have had a chance without Gamabunta. However, it doesn't mean that Bunta made Naruto himself any stringer, the advantage lies in the fact that it grants Naruto a powerful ally that can help him win the fight.

Edo Tensei is essentially the same, it's just ninjas instead of the normal animal summons. :y

It's an almost unstoppable ninjutsu so makes someone top tier just like the rinnegan does.

Now the mental strength I can understand but how strong ih he its not like it was his idea it was oros even the second hokage hadn't even thought to use it in that manner so really orochimaru should get the praise that kabuto is recieving right?

Basically, Edos are like their tools. It doesn't increase their ninjutsu, genjutsu or taijutsu, but it does increase their arsenal.

well by your logic everyone in the nv are weak. Sasuke copied his sharingun (wasnt his original jutsu), naruto copied the rasengun, Kakashi copied all 1000 of his jutsus
So by your logic anyone that doesn't use their own original jutsu doesn't deserve the honor of being called strong?
