Naruto storm team question...

Here me out on this one.

In Naruto storm, most players like to use the "name teams" that the developers have put in the game for teams. Most of the time, anything used outside of team names, gets bad rep. My question is, why? It put's you at such a handicap when we only use name teams. You see a Neji, most of the time you know he is going to have Lee and Ten ten, bleh. If only players embraced the good things that can come from making your own thought out team.


After a while, the game gets repetitive. Everyday it's the same teams and the same strategies. Where is the originality? Why cant I pick chiyo with zabuza and shino? Random I know, but how would you prepare if you randomly seen a team like that? You wouldn't know what the mindset the player of a team like that has. But these everyday name teams are getting old, and people are figuring out ways to stop every name team.

Lets say one day I feel like playing with some lightning. I pick Taka Sasuke, Kakashi, and Raikage. The developers didn't give it a name, but why can't I? I can call it " True Lightning Users", or something like that. A team like Guy and Kisame. No not a name team, But I can give it a name, something like "always forgotten" or what's ya name?", Why Because Guy never remembers Kisames name. -_____-. And lastly a new team, like Orochimaru, The first Hokage, and the fourth hokage, call it " Kage Reanimation" You just never know, because everyone has different styles and likes and dislikes, the possibilities are endless.

Some advantages of custom thought out teams are the unpredictability. Lets say for example, you fight me in ranked and I fight you with Gaara, Taka Sasuke, and Shizune. You are most likely going to think, that's a weird combination. But little do you know that I have my reasons for picking that team and it's not random. Gaara's jutsu is one of a few that can hit players that are on the laying on the ground, Shizune hits you with a poison that make you fall to the ground, as does Taka Sasukes jutsu as well. One the player has been hit with shizune or Sasuke, I can hit them with Gaara's jutsu. A tactic that goes with that team alone. If players thought like this, there would be so many advanced combos that can be created, by just experimenting with different characters. Come on now, I know you really don't want to use hidan with just kakazu-_-

At the end of the day, the game is what you make it, you can make it to where, creating custom teams, don't have to be so frowned upon, or have a little fun, and try to discover some new things, moves, teams, tactics, and get rid of the repetitiveness. What are your takes on this Storm Community?

the developers don't make you use name teams and from what i see, most of team battles are fought with no name teams. Ex. kage summit Sasuke support: Itachi and Pein. Also, their is no dis advantage for using no name teams compared to name teams.

The reaseon it gets a bad rep is most people (at least those that can't play without doing so) pick a main that has a strong (fast/long distance) jutsu with Hidan and Tsuchikage as backup. I dislike people that do this the most but this is just an example.
note: Guy and Kisame team has a name

I almost never use teams, because I always have Itachi as support, and I never play as anyone who goes in a named team with him.

I use unique team such as character's you don't see being used to often in sync with combinations.

I do both. Depending on my mood. I call them team taijutsu ( guy ,hidan, kimminoro) nothing flashy just a beat down!

yeah that's what I mean, its your own team though right? I wish other players thought like that instead of frowning upon it so much. storm 3 is new, so we wont have to worry about it getting repetitive for a while, but It will get to that point at some point, and I will be having this same exact convo when it happens

Well the reason I pick the teams because its to much work to look through the screen especially if your taking turns online, besides in storm gen the teams people picked mostly is hidan and pain. or hidan & _____ Or Pain & _________,
