Is it just me or does Kishi still draw Tobirama with that evil twinkle in his eye? Take a look at this (He's the second Guy from the left, for those that dont know):



Kishi's style of drawing changed a lot over the years and I simply assumed that Tobirama's "evil eyes" were the product of his older style. But lo and behold, Kishi continues to draw him like that.

In most mangas you can usually immediately determine that a new character is an antagonist, simply by looking at him/her. I was actually ding-donged a bit when I realized: "Hey, but but he's a good guy?" the first time I saw him. I really and truly assumed Tobirama was an antagonist for a couple of seconds.

Is this a Gin (from bleach) situation we have here?

What goes through Kishi's mind when he draws Tobirama looking so evil. And to top it, Kishi goes on to give him one of the evillest Jutsus in the Narutoverse....Edo Tensei. And his [Tobirama's] sense of fashion doesn't help much either.

Could he really have an evil past as some have speculated already?

Its possible, i do find it funny that Tobirama created a forbiddon jutsu to rez people back to life, and I would also like to know what S/T jutsu he had!

Tobirama killed Hashi! I made a thread about my theory of my belief that Tobirama killed Hashi and was working along with Madara. That's why he built the police force so the Uchiha could have an entire group to themselves.
