could you at least give the article a shot before judging? its not about religion, or forcing you to do something, its to show to you, that this is not something that is meant to be eaten. it is a living garbage disposable. meant to clean the earth just like the shrimp is mean to clean the ocean floor. Why eat something that eats everything?

they are all bad for you, only difference is, one has been divinely banned from human consumption. You say drinking and smoking is bad because you know what that does to you, but you do not know what the pig will do to you. Ever seen someone look like they are fifty when they are thirty? ever seen someone with that certain yellow in their eyes? clogged arteries, heart failure, discoloration of the skin and face, quicker aging, muscle tissue being eaten away, the mass of worms you eat even infect your brain! does way more than smoking and drinking combined. at least if you stop drinking and smoking, it doesn take long to leave your system, the worms you get from the pig stay inside you for over three years ( only if you stop eating if not they never leave your body)

in islam eating porks was prohibited before more than thousand of years cause it demages the body. yet the pig meat and how its harmfull for body was discovered recently.

It was prohibited because there was a correlation to illness.
They blamed it on pork NOT on how it was prepared (cooked sufficiently).
It was in the 19th century, when the association between trichinosis and undercooked pork was first established.

One could even argue that perhaps e coli issues may have been why only the front half of the cow is kosher but not the back half.

Marital fidelity encouraged by religion was to stop the spread of veneral diseases.

Taboos about marrying inside your family are cultural and religious tenants where dangerous recessive genetic traits lurk. In cultures without such pitfalls, such restrictions never were created.

Unfortunately, one article won't change the way ppl live. It's like trying to give a chain smoker a pamphlet on health risks and expecting them to quit cold turkey. It just won't happen in most cases.

as you read in that article pigs lives in Hazard places where its full of germs, there is a microscopic worm inside of it that cant be killed by the cooking the meat, that worm can feed on your inside and grow inside your small intestine, that fact was proved by national geographic

and i say it again threw life expierence , and not by some article. my family all grew up in puerto rico and they all eat pig every day . and most of my aunts uncles and my great grandma lived well into the 1oo not 80 not 90 but 1oo. so u can take that article and yaa. real life> computer life
