in islam eating porks was prohibited before more than thousand of years cause it demages the body. yet the pig meat and how its harmfull for body was discovered recently.

My dad is a fanatic christian. Growing up with him, he never let us eat pork for he believed the same as you muslims do concerning pork meat. Which is something I appreciated from being raised in a christian environment. Whenever I accidently had a piece of pork meat, I immediately got a stomachache, pimples all over my face, greasy skin, and just an unpleasant feeling in general. That's when you never eat it obv, if eating pork is a habit to you, the symptoms I mentioned won't apply to others

Listen, there is so much people don't know. I know people that have gotten cured from Stage IV Cancer only by changing their diet, with 0/none/lack-of assistance from any doctors (chemotherapy etc.) You diet can make or brake you.

In fact, I'm planning to go vegetarian this summer! Who knows how that's gonna go...

You might be right. I didn't really eat pork up until I was 10 or 12 and I never had greasy or pimply skin up until age 15 where I consumed pork on a daily basis or so.

Well, I personally don't eat pork, don't get me wrong I think it's delicious, but I have my health to worry about. Being black gives me a higher risk for hypertension, strokes heart attacks and everything else, I just can't take that chance, so if I want Bacon I go Turkey. I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything either because I grew up with a health conscious family.
