No srsly, everything is poison if consumed in too high quantities. As long as you consume it to a certain degree only, there is no reason not to eat pork healthwise.

I don't eat pork either, because yes...

I am Muslim.

But at the same time, I wouldn't knock it. When the Quran was made, the cleansing processes of a pig were considerably different. Hell, any animal. Same thing.

The only problem with those two sites you posted... Where is their credibility? One is off a forum. The other one is a magazine that I don't know to be credible.

And you're posting this on an internet website. Looking at both of these, one key word is here that will put most people here off. That word is "God."

While I myself believe in God, that doesn't mean that I want to read about religious "why you shouldn't do this" kind of stuff. Also, many people here are ATHEISTS or AGNOSTIC. You aren't appealing to the masses here, especially since most of us here either have a faith but aren't religious about it (like me), or do not believe in religion altogether.

And by the way guys, I don't care if you eat pork. I'm not gonna knock your beliefs, but pork is actually one of the worst kinds of meat you can eat. Loaded with fat. Most people trying to build muscle stay away from it in favor of lean beef, chicken and turkey.

I personally don't see why its so hard to avoid something that is bad for you. Smoking, Drinking, Eating Pig...You'll be living the life for twenty years max before the doctor starts diagnosing you with symptoms of heart failing, cholesterol, blood pressure, premature fatigue, etc.

I will excuse this comment because you are ignorant to the truth, that the pig does harm you. did you not read the article? after what was written in there, how can you honestly say that no harm comes from the pig? Heart disease, shortened life spans, quicker aging, etc etc.

Clearly, the one who wrote the first article didn't read the New Testament. Plus, pigs nowadays are treated(injected or approved by veterinarians) before they're butchered. Heart diseases in people occur when they eat TOO MUCH pork. So, it's not that pork harms you. It's too much of ANYTHING.
