Any thoughs of Sauske mentioning he is not a pure Uchiha?

So any thoughts of Sauske saying he is not a pure uchiha? Any idea what he meant by that? I'd link the page but I don't really know how to be honest.

On page 19 Hashirama calls him "a pure uchiha child" to which Sauske replies with "...I am not pure nor a child..."

What did he mean? Could he has already been given some of Hashirama's DNA when he recieved ithachi's eyes? Is one of his parents not actually Uchiha? Was his mother unfaithful? She did name Sauske after a member of the Surotobi clan.

What are your guys thoughts?
