I have a friend like a brother. We used to fight ALL the time. Not just the "who's stronger" fights either, it was usually over girls. He has literally never won a fight we were in. Now that we're older he still talks like he's tough. Then when I give him the "all right mother f#cker its go time" eyes, its all "just kidding" and compliments out his mouth.

your conclusion has no logic at all...as seen in the current manga, hashi's personality seems to be carefree just like naruto, minato, and jiraiya. shino is more serious than all of these characters i just stated, does that mean he is stronger than them? no not at all. and besides they can talk to each other however they want to, they are freakin brothers, they dont have to show respect to each other bc they are family. Im sure you told one of your siblings to "SILENCE" before...ive done so alot of times.
