Orochimaru had to put Minato in check quite fast this chapter, for a minute I thought he was going to slap him.

Not only did Orochimaru have to straighten Minato out for trying to play him, but Orochimaru clowned "his jutsu" as he found a way to reverse DRS on his "downtime". BOSS

you misunderstood. Orochimaru directly saying don't understiamte me was him putting him in check. I read this as how Orochimaru would say it and we all nice he isnt polite. He going on after on how his figured out how to reverse his jutsu on his downtime was a slap in the face. Orochimaru also stunned the 2nd Hokage, making Edo seem as such a simple jutsu

Minato didn't know Orochimaru for a long time, I feel. He still was his sensei's ( Jiraiya ) best friend, so I feel it's as if Kakashi met Kushina. He'd be respectful towards her.

I think Oro left the village before Minato died, too.

if one "creates" a jutsu, you would think it to be impossible for someone to reverse the technique, especially having no prior info on the jutsu.
