no he cannot the tensei must be stopped by the user. the jutsu to stop the edo tensei is different than the one performed by Madara which doesn't stop the justu, but breaks the binding contract.

But itachi learned the seal then made kabuto stop the jutsu. Couldn't sasuke theoretically do the same to oro?

Oro is a far cry from Kabuto. And as far as genjutsu goes Sasuke is not as skilled as Itachi, I don't see that happening. BUt hey I'm not Kishi

Oro has been known to fall victim to regular sharingan genjutsu. It wasn't even tsukiyomi. I know your not kishi neither am i. Just opinions
