I am the biggest Hiruzen fan and yet I have no problem admitting that Hashirama could defeat him mid-high diff. But don't forget Hiruzen held the title of Shinobi no Kami after Hashi's death so if they were to fight it wouldn't be easy for Hashi Mokuton or not.

Once again to the guy that replied to me... Hiruzen had his time for hype.... HASHIRAMA AND MADARA are basically the CENTER of this ark... and if you haven't realized , hashirama has been getting his hype recently... this isn't a retcon.... Adding hashirama to the list of shinobi kami's isn't a retcon

Part one is just as credible as part 2.

All that proves is that Befor hiruzen's prime, hashirama was indeed "God of shinobi", But As time passed prime hiruzen took that title from hashirama due to his strength matching or besting his.

There can be more than one "god of shinobi" through out history. No reading between the lines needed for something so obvious.

this. The only thing we have to go on right now is still hype, and Hiruzen had some pretty insane hype in part 1. He was stated to be the strongest Hokage, whether hashi is a god or not lol. Not saying he's stronger, just saying that the hype points to it.

what did it settle? orochimaru said hiruzens a god of shinobi. amegakure and konan said nagatos a god of shinobi. gaara said madaras a god of shinobi (though kabuto siad madaras merely a fraction of the ACTUAL god). juubi is a projenitor and creator god. of those gods, hiruzen is the most impressive since he did it without being a uchiha or senju.
being called a god is pretty common in hype. whenever your miles above everyone else, you get a god complex from your peers. if hashirama was truly a god of shinobi how come he let madara escape with his cells? how come he didnt stop his brother from creating vile immoral jutsu? how come he couldnt stop the first great shinobi war?

wtf? did you ever think that its the other way around and suigetsu saying that is merely what he heard orochimaru say? hearsay gets deteroriated and unreliable over time. thats why i believe nagato being hyped like a god as absolutely true because that is a contemporary primary source we hear it from. hashi and hiruzen are long dead legends and are treated as thus
