[Discussion] Perfect Susanoo is not Rinnegan or ems-based

It is commonly assumed that Madara can use the perfect Susanoo, because of his eternal Kaleidoscope Sharingan, or Rinnegan. It was initially made clear that Madara was capable of the jutsu before ever attaining the Rinnegan. However:

The flashback depicts Madara with his original eyes, meaning his brother's eyes did not grant him perfect Susanoo [If anything at all]. Although it is fairly likely that Madara didn't use perfect Susanoo in every battle.

I think it's his MS's specialty, like sasuke's is amatersu, and Itachi's is Tsukiyomi, he just excelled at Susanoo

I believe his MS had the potential for PS but he still needed the EMS to achieve it since Sasuke's Susano'o evolved when he achieved EMS.

Madara was probably capable of perfect Susanoo before he even had a sharingan (he is just that cool)

It seems like the EMS gives susanoo a boost... I don't recall if it has ever been clarified what this boost is; it could simply be more power/ chakra that then is channeled in whatever way or jutsu the user is best at.

Madara excelling at susanoo, yep, I can see it happening. (don't know what is really going on, but wouldn't be surprised if it comes down to that)
