But honestly, the whole moral of Naruto is that bonds are important.
Friendship can also make you strong. Look at Itachi. He may have severed just about all of his bonds but it took him until after death to realize that you can't do everything on your own.

I've come to respect Madara after this. There's a plauseable reason why Madara is angry. I'd be angry if I were Madara too. To lose all your brothers then be disclaimed from your family then watch the dream of peace you helped build gets destroyed under very eyes. It could be Madara fought Harashima so he could die in a proud fight but something else happened.

Sasuke on the other hand has no reason to be angry or take revenge. Itachi chose to do that mission. He could have joined his clan and betrayed his village. Sasuke trying to destroy the village is like stepping on his brothers memory. He goes around saying I'm doing this for my brother but after Itachi was revived he still used his power to help the village and the world by stopping Edo Tensei.
