No, Itachi was 13 at the time of the massacre. Sasuke was only 8, and was 12-13 in part 1. Itachi was around 18 in part 1.

1. Uchiha massacre happened when itachi was 13. It's said somewhere, won't bother finding it now.
2. I assumed that Obito stayed with Madara for 1-2 years (1983 to 1984 or 1985, and remember while Obito met Nagato, Yahiko was still alive).
3. I wanted to fit Tsunade's age to timeline, but to be more realistic I put uchiha massacre, obito etc.

Another weird timeline/age "mistake"(not really a mistake, I'll explain), is Kakashi being 9 or 10 years old when he was promoted to jounin. How likely is it they'd promote a 9 or 10 year old to jounin in war? I know their forces were depleting, but there were surely better options than a 9 or 10 year old. This became obvious during the Obito flashbacks. This also looks weird because Kakashi seemed to praise the fact(and was afraid of him because of it) that Itachi was ANBU captain at 13. That feat really shouldn't have registered with him given what we know now. Being jounin at 9 or 10 is easily equivalent to, if not surpassing of that feat.
Prodigy/genius or not, a 9-10 year old jounin doesn't make much sense. Sasuke was considered a genius and only graduated the academy at 12. Same goes for Neji. Such a drastic gap between "prodigies".

Which means there's no reason why Tsunade has to be 5 million+ years old for her to have been alive when her grandfather was alive.
From their chat in the latest chapter, all we know is that Tobirama was STILL Hokage WHEN Hashirama died (because Hashi didn't know about the dealings with the Uchiha).
From what I understand, thats exactly what this scan from the First Official Databook is supposed to say. Only problem is...its in Japanese.
Its supposed to confirm that Tobirama became Hokage after the death of Hashirama.
There's a person somewhere here on the base that translates things from time to time. I forgot what the username is.
p.s. If your reading this...Please Help!!

This is Kishi's story and he does not need to write it to your choice of story. You can write your own story and stop crying over another man's story. Stop being a baby.

Re: Kishi ruining the chronology on a whim
Are you forgetting how old and deshrevelled Tsunade looks every time she releases the Seal on her forehead or uses up too much Chakra. She seems much older (visually) than both Jaraiah and Orochimaru (although we have never really seen her face when she's like that; only her crinkly arm and hand).
Point being, she may very well be older than them, regardless of what we believe her age to be.
Kishi knows i guess.... anyway...
Have a GREAT DAY NarutoBase!

WTF does uzumaki have to do here? She has senju heritage... thats why she has a crazy life force.
The thread: well people have already opened other's people's eyes about the timeline. I really don't like it when people act like they know it all, supposedly thinking of the manga at a higher level then Kishi is thinking about it, and then going against the man. Every time that I have heard something criticising kishi concerning a time line mistake, every-time that criticism was wrong.

Re: Kishi ruining the chronology on a whim
Kishi didn't make a mistake you did ! hashi is tsunades grandfather and in the latest manga he made it obvious that he spent a lot of time with her hence her being a spoiled granddaughter because she was the first, in addition you have to spend quite a bit of time together to pick up someone's bad habits!

We have no idea how long the first reigned for. Remember he is Senju, which is life force and vitality. He could look a lot younger then he is.

My theory.
The tsunade we saw in the previous chap was 4.
This is slightly after the hashi/madara fight, Hashi lets down his position to Tobirama
Few years pass, tobirama does everything he does in his era
Tsunade is 10-12 when she is under hiruzen's team.
At this point, Hiruzen is the kage and Tobirama died.
I think I solved this.

I guess this settles this. There is nothing wrong with the timeline. Everything is explainable.

Saru then goes from being a teen, to being an adult with a goatee (looking significantly older), and has since had his (bearded face) carved onto the mountain. This Saru trains Tsunade from age 6 as far as we know (since that's when the Sannin graduated from the academy). It's more than a tight fit... Tsunade looks at least 3-4 in that image of Hashi remembering her... it's impossible to fit all that stuff in that timeline.
Kage do not train genin........
