Some Peculiar Things in the Latest Chapter

Did anyone else find Hashirama's behavior very odd? He was portrayed as the calm, serious, and authorative type in the past. But now, he is shown to be awfully childish and almost to the maturity level of Naruto. Also, how Tobirama is commanding him....very strange. Another thing, Orochimaru is def raising some flags in my mind by saying he is not intending to use them to attack the leaf, or even having an intent of crushing the leaf. This chapter brings more questions than answers.

Anyone else?

if oro wants the leaf crushed he can let the juubi do that... i believe he has bigger issues than that... oro since the beggining wants to know the origins and secrets behind jutsu itself i would asume the leaf is of no importance right know...imo haha

I do not, he isn't the strong, calm type that would be a Hokage. He is rather silly at the moment.

I dunno, it just seems awfully contradictory to what we've seen of him in the past.

Well I would have to say most of our views of Hashirama have come from Madara and a little bit from Kakuzu.

So I mean those would be from people who were his opponent, and clearly Naruto gets serious in a fight.

Other than them, Hiruzen had a flashback of him and that was when they were giving a Will of Fire speech so it appeared serious.

The first time they appeared they were being forced to destroy their home so no happy feelings there...

But Orochimaru is acting rather odd. Part of it is that he just got his arms back, his recovering chakra, and his natural curiosity are probably influencing his actions

Hashirama was shown to us as the real Hashirama without all the myth behind him. He was obviously a great Hokage and when he had to be serious he was, but he was also human. He wasn't a goof when he was giving hell to Tobirama for his treatment of the Uchiha.

Tobirama and him fought a lot it seems and we witnessed typical sibling rivalry, but Hashirama is more passive and doesn't try to argue with Tobirama, probably knowing it's pointless and sulks instead. To them this was a regular occurrence.

There were hints if you look at the Zetsu. They had Hashirama's cells and acted like him, and when Tobi told Sasuke about Tobirama trying to contain the Uchiha with the cover of having them as the police force, it showed his distrust of the Uchiha before we knew more about him.

I think he will go by what Sasuke says. If he wants to destroy Konoha, he'll send the Kages on it, if not, he'll take them to the war. We probably won't see Sasuke's decision either. Kishi will probably go back to the war, then in a few chapters, we'll see Sasuke and the Kages in the background

That's one of the biggest problems I have with how he's being portrayed currently.
