Genjutsu- Love it or Hate it?

Do you like Genjutsu or do you think it is stupid? I personally think it is really cool, but we've only seen Itachi and Kurunei use it to a nice degree/

Well I like the idea of it but hate how it's expanded. Kakashi's genjutsu trick was great. IMO genjutsu should be based off tricks and finding the weak points to them. I just don't like how a lot of paralysis jutsu are basically the same thing but with different scenery.

Love it.
I love the concept of it and I think there should be more genjutsu users around. BUT I hate how it is represented. Basically all it does in reality is freeze the victim in place. There should be more reality altering genjutsu like Izanagi.

some genjutsus are cool like tayuya's and kabuto's. making them OP hax eye moves like izanami and KA was going overboard. good genjutsus dont even make you realise your in one till its too late. so KA is redundant if thats its main attribute.

the best genjutsus were in part 1. the rain guys making kabuto and team kakashi walk in circles was genius. as was orochimaru using a fearbased genjutsu and show opponents their own death to paralyse them. part 2 only focused on the OP uchihas spamming it and using it to get out of any given situation.

I love it. Its my favourite ninja art. And I like that it has a certain degree of exclusivity - its something that very few ninja are skilled at. Its a shame we haven't really seen much genjutsu other than the ones used my Itachi. I've always wanted to see someone like Kurenai for exmaple show off her skills. Her skills rival those of Itachi's according to the databook and yet we've seen nothing that supports the databook statement.

no theyd be dead in a fraction of a second. kid goku was dodging lightning. base goku traversed a planet in less than a second. one hypersonic punch and they are done.

also itachi has the sealing sword.

against raditz? hed break it in half or itd bounce off his skin since he lived on a planet with 10x earths gravity

Don't forget Tayuya with her flute (it was a high level genjutsu as well, shika just got lucky with his shadows), Danzo with his Kotoamatsuki :D Obito with his genjutsu killing Konan, there's probably more :o
