This feels like a 2 way thread since 'I stated a jutsu called "Amaterasu" could nullify Edo Tensei and

also 'SHINRA TENSEI' probably being the most effective counter for 'AMATERASU'

Well it might work but probably only for the 10 days/nights it's been hyped to burn for. I mean Edos have been blown up and regenerated to as they were before so you can't really "erase them" from what I know in that matter.

amaterasu cant incinerate an edo if jinton failed to do so. madara regenerated from being absolutely crushed by his own meteor as did mu. this kind of thing is what ET was designed to do and survive from.

Well it could be argued that the flames will eat and ash all the bits of the Edo, but it's regenerative properties will still be in effect.

For example: when Onoki used Jinton on Madara.

I don't think Amaterasu would be a solution. I'm pretty sure the soul is essentially the thing that needs to be dealt with in order for an Edo to be stopped. The Amaterasu would probably just burn the body away, but it would just regenerate after it burnt out. If what your saying was true, wouldn't the wounds on Nagato still be there instead of being able to regenerate? The only thing I think it would do would be to buy time to get someone else to seal the Edo.

Maybe we're getting the wrong idea because your definition of nullify seems to be different then the actual definition. Not sure where you got "for a while" from. You were making it out to be that Amaterasu would be able to STOP Edo. I don't think anyone here has the wrong idea.
