[Theory] Madara and the 1st were FRIENDS????????????

Every single generation in naruto has a Sasuke/Naruto friendship goin on Sasuke/Naruto obito/Kakashi jiraya/orochimaru...

Notice how Madara speaks about the 1st hokage Nothing but compliments,

notice how the 1st reacts to how his bro speaks about the uchiha. .

if MAdara was such a enemy to the 1st why would they make a statue of him next to the 1st in the valley where naruto and sasuke fought.. it would seem like a hokage would of had to order that (Speculation)

maybe the 1st's brother and madara's brother are the reason that the 1st and madara fought. we know the 2nd hokage thought different then the 1st. i would think it would of went something like Madaras brother gave up his eyes so madara can beat the 1st and live under uchiha ideals instead of senju ideals, and once he sacrificed himself there was no goin back. like when the 2nd said "Madara loved his brother probaly more than you loved your brother"

and notice the second hokage isnt bad mouthing madara he was surprised about madaras actions cuz hes speaking as if he lost control when he said "the deeper the darkness get the more powerful their eyes become and its impossible to handle them like in madaras case.." that doesnt sound like he was expecting it there almost making excuses for him saying he its cuz of his emotions.. what do you think???

I think they were. I even think it was a copy of Naruto/Sasuke. The Uchiha was probably a normal person who lost their brother and went insane over it, just like Sasuke. The first hokage probably tried everything to stop him but had no other choice but fighting him to protect the village. I feel sorry for both of them and hope we will hear more about it when Hashirama talks next week.

Similarities to Naruto and Sasuke:
-Madara and Sasuke were both leaf ninja and both uchiha who awakened the sharingan
-both had a brother that they loved and cared about
-both lost their brother
-both went insane and turned evil, awakened more levels of sharingan
-both were probably friends with the good guy (Hashirama/Naruto) who protected the village
-both sets of people fought in the valley of end
-both Hashirama and Naruto were probably influenced to turn against their former friend, Hashirama alot more though (but Naruto too: remember, Jiraiya said 'give him up')
-both uchiha lost their clan and went their own way, left the village
-both uchiha have the same arrogant personality now

Differences:
-Sasuke wanted to kill the brother that he loved, the brother broke the bond first and made his life hell
-Naruto is not hokage yet but same position to protect the village
-Naruto wants to break the cycle and change destiny, he tries to bring Sasuke back, he is still his friend
-Hashirama probably focussed on hokage duties and gave it up quickly to save Madara
-Hashi and Madara respect each other, Sasuke doesn't respect Naruto
-not sure if they were rivals like Sasuke and Naruto


The story will be tragic, no matter what. That's why I still see chances for tnj.

i agree With everything you said except 2 things..

when the 2nd hokage told the 1st "the only thing that matters is the village you should know that.." i think it implies that the 1st hokage like naruto and jiraya didnt eliminate the threat to the leaf and only wanted to kill the person as a last resort.. the 2nd hokage condemned the threat because it was better for the leaf to have no threats instead of a potential threat

and i think sasuke has alot of respect for naruto.. during flashbacks in the anime when team 7 reunited after the summit it showed sasuke in the past and he was thinking about how much stronger naruto was, and it also showed his breaking point seeing the damage naruto did on the roof at the hospital compared to his chidori.. he asked himself why cant he close the gap.. and even when tobi told sasuke naruto beat pain sasuke started smiling as if he was happy for him..

But as Tobirama said, the more they fall into darkness the harder they are to reason with, after Madara's brother died, any hope with reasoning with him went out the window.

I doubt they were actually friends as with the clans being how they were, I don't see it possible. I'm sure it's how it always is though, if things had happened differently they would have been great friends yadayadayada. They talk about each other with respect, as all other strong/respectful shinobi have done.

Understood they used to be enimies and then they made a pact and the 2 clans became the hidden Leaf. there was peace between the 2 clans for a long time they could've became friends.. Uchiha or not madara was still a leaf shinobi for a long time.. and its not only the respect its u dont put up statues of ppl who arent heroes

Nice twist on it, but from what i seen madara doesnt seem that malicious he looks like he enjoys the fight and measuring himself against strong warriors.. he could of killed the kages and the allied force and chose not too.. obito went right in for the kill

Before the Village was formed both Hashirama and Madara were enemies... Both the Uchiha clan and Senju clan fought relentlessly before the village was formed.

Moreover Madara had EMS before the village was formed here http://narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/399/2 if you read this it will make it clear.... read the complete chapter if possible it will help...

You also might be right I will be more than happy if both Madara and Hashirama were friends since chapter 619 I feel everyone will like Hashirama for sure he is that kinda off a guy hehehe..... who can hate him though???
