Is knowing better than not knowing?
They say ignorance is bliss, but is this really true? I think knowing is better, becasue it evolves you as a human being.
Please give me your views on the topic.

Re: Is knowing better than not knowing?
Some might argue that it's better not to know if the information is life-changing or dreadful.
Personally, I think it's better knowing because you can eventually accept whatever it is and overcome it. That will ultimately make you stronger and able to move on.

Re: Is knowing better than not knowing?
Knowing builds you up into a better person, not knowing is simply put as you're mind not being able to handle whatever you know. If you don't know then the ones around you either think you are not mature enough to know or just haven't told you yet. But knowing is better.

Its always better to know everything that you can possibly know. The ability to question anything is human natures greatest gift.

You may be right about that, but it can also drive you to the borders of insanity. So I don't think you should question everything.

Ahh but who defines what is sane? People should not be held from unlocking their true potential. The mind is very powerful. What some would call insane some others might call sane. Dont try to follow everyone else principal of life just to limit your own.

Re: Is knowing better than not knowing?
'knowing' is one thing. 'Acting' however; is more plausible. You can have access to all wisdom in the world, but if you can't apply it to your everyday life, it's useless.

Rather than knowing, understanding suffices more than enough to be kind towards another, knowledge in and of itself doesn't evovle anything at all.
You may know that it's mean to hurt someone, but not practice any such "noble" principles at all, there's lots of examples. Understanding it, however, you'd see and refrain from such folly(mean stuff).
Moreover, knowing can never be complete now, can it? There are so many things in the that world we will never know of.

Sure there are things we will never understand, but should we always question that which we don't understand?
