You people underestimate Shikamaru... he was able to defeat Hidan, allright, but you can't compare HIdan ( who had no jutsu or special powers ) to someone like Deidara, can you?

you guys also forget that shikamaru IS NOT a genius. he has a very high IQ. around 200 or so. that ONLY means that he's able to think quickly is any situations. the real genius here is Neji. he is called the genius of naruto's generation. shikamaru is not a genius, he just thinks quicker on reflexes.

Neji's genius would prove a good match for shikamaru's, sakura's strength wouldn't do anything to sai or deidara cause they can fly. but kisame's chakra is to be feared, so i myself am not really sure who would win.

Shikamaru and Sakura are non-factors in this battle. Kisame is about to fight Bee who effectively killed Sasuke 3x over and took out the entire Taka squad. Either Kisame is going to win against Bee, or Bee is going to win in a very intense battle. Kisame has the chakra equal to that of a tailed-beast and a sword that eats chakra. This battle is over pretty quick.
