NarutoAwesome is desperately trying to reverse what has happened, but it doesn't work like that. I would peg him at about 16 maybe, he's into rap, thinks he's cool and doesn't know how to man up when called out - he has to be 15-16. Only a young adult would start a contest, then participate in it. It's an interesting case to study at least, there's enough material here for an entire conference.

Well, it hasn't been decided just yet. There are probably some alts hiding in there a place. Though I doubt the three in the lead, me included, will fall behind after the cleaning ^_^

Yeah, there's definitely alts, there's too many for them all to be genuine But, I agree with Skylar, in that it probably won't change the placings too much

Just going to suggest to tone the discussion on alts voting down a bit. One thing could lead to another and that's how awards get taken away and bans happen. You've all done an amazing job writing, and that's all that matters.

If there are alts, they will be found and handled. That should be the end of the discussion, please.

Nobody was pointing fingers. But it has happened before. People aren't calling anyone a bad person. It's just that the vote count is so high this month, everyone's just a bit surprised I think.

Besides, the most likely cause for the vote increase was the fact that the FFotM was featured on the home page. A lot of people who only registered to comment on the manga releases and anime releases probably saw it and voted. That is the most likely reason why there were a lot of suspicious votes from people with little to no posts.

Inevitably, congratulations are in order for the winners of this months competition (even if the votes change) as all the writing was fairly admirable and well presented.

Zombie Evil is a wise man... You all should listen to what he just said as he has a fair point.
The fact that the contests appear on the Forum News section on the front page, is probably one of the factors to why we have had such a high voting rate this month. Although it's not like the first time we've encountered something like this as the FF contest has appeared on the Hottest Thread list before, and the votes have gone skyrocketing. For your information, this is not even a record (with or without alts).

Anyways, it's not like you people to blame each other (as I know most of you all too well), even though alt voting have always been a heavily discussed theme.

PS: Why on earth are all the smileys blue?! O__o

PS 2: Sorry I didn't get more time in this thread this time around, but I've barely been near a computer, yet along had the energy to participate in the discussion, and therefore I had no time to read anyone's FFs either. Though judging from what I know of the writer's work and what I've glimpsed at before, my vote would probably have been between Keotsu, Reborn, Netsui, ChakraW, Skylar and Sam (that's a long list, isn't it), with Keotsu probably getting it. Alas, it's too late to ever know now. Not sure if March will be any different, but I promise you that I'll be back in April (in what form, I'm not sure yet).

PS 3: Even thought the final results are not decided yet, I'd like to congratulate those who ends up at top three. Heck, everyone in the contest for that matter, making it as great as it is.

PS 4: If Evil is going to start participating again, as well as Toc (with Reborn), things will get interesting indeed...
