edo tensei question

hey guys im watching the shinobi world war arc and some really cool ninja has been revived, however ive noticed quite a patern here, when the reincarnated shinobi are in the midst of a battle or a conversation i see their faces begin to crack, why does this happen? can they only stay reincarnated for a limited period of time?

Just the anime. I don't remember it but the anime messes up all the time. Don't pay attention to it.

anyone else notice the 1st hokage looks a LOT diffrent from when he was first resurrected by orochimaru vs the 3rd hokage to now? back then he looks a lot more serious, older, and a bit fatter .-.
