Did Itachi own Nagato in episode 299?

First off I loved this episode and was really looking forward too it, however I feel like it may have refeuled the Itachi beats Nagato feud. I feel like both Nagato and Itachi got they're props in this fight(anime and manga), but without Bee and Naruto, Itachi could not stop chibaku tensei. Therefore Itachi did not own Nagato.

P.S. Would still love to see a full out fight between them!

Pretty much this, only loyal itachi fans didnt see it was 3v1 situation and they almost lost 8-9tails at same time, kabutos fault that nagato got sealed. + he himself resisted movement..

Great fight and a dream match up but id say Itachi won fair and square. It was cool seeing all of Nagato's abilities again and they were impressive but Itachi especially his Totsuka blade was just too much for him. Still both top 5 to me

Why Didn't Itachi Seal Nagato When He Got KO By Amaterasu? Plot No Jutsu helped Nagato to Prolong The Fight.
And Also Why didn't Itachi's susanoo destroy nagato instead of cutting his arms ( When itachi saved naruto and bee from nagato)

They are both top tier ninja, Itachi is a genius prodigy even among the Uchiha, with eyes containing the legendary sword and mirror on his Susanoo, but Nagato is an Uzumaki who was given the fully-evolved eyes of Madara. He has the ridiculous chakra and vitality of Uzumaki plus the pinnacle of Uchiha eyes. Basically the best of both worlds. That's the reason he's my favorite I guess
