[Discussion] Does Naruto have the possibility of getting Rinnegan?

Hey everyone, this is my first post. Okay, so straight to the point. Can Naruto get the Rinnegan? Nagato got his Rinnegan from Madara and he awakened it during Yahiko's death. When Madara was summoned by Edo Tensei, he had his Sharingan evolve into MS, then EMS which evolved into Rinnegan. There's a big debate about Naruto getting the Rinnegan! I think the only possibility that Naruto could get the Rinnegan is only when Sasuke who has EMS plants his eyes onto Naruto which could evolve into Rinnegan as Rinnegan is an evolved form of Sharingan. But it's highly unlikely of Sasuke planting his eyes lol. So what do you guys think? Any theories related to it? :D

The way you explained it with getting Sasuke's eyes does make it possible but i dont see him getting it because like many others have said its not his style and he really doesnt need it. When you think about it the only person who has recieved an dojutsu that didnt have one in the first place was Kakashi so in theory its possible he could get rinnegan but in reality its doubtful. Interesting point though + rep, well done :D

Naruto is not the type to use doujutsu. On to pf that he is powerful enough in his own regard and does not need the Rinnegan. In my opinion the Rinnegan is already over played. At first is was the omnipotent justu of Sot6P, then Nagato unlocked, then Obito stole it, then Madara shows up with it, and Sasuke has an EMS so he has a chance to unlock it.

And in my theories he can't. He needs true Senju DNA, because of Uzumaki is a 'incomplete' Senju DNA.

Rinnegan needs senju DNA and an awakened maygenko sharingan in order to awaken. Madara awakened his late in life after his battle with hashi and taking his DNA and implanting in itself. Uzamaki are known for two things: sealing and incredible chakra reserves. That's why Nagano was chosen to get the rinnegan, b/c he was an uzamaki.

@OP: Yes, it's a possibility that Naruto can get the Rinnegan, as Nagato was an Uzumaki and he could use it. However, someone would have to transfer their Rinnegan eyes to Naruto, and currently, I don't see any of the Uchihas doing that.

Actually, I'm not sure about that. I've never seen Nagato switch off the Rinnegan, like how Sasuke or Itachi can turn off their Sharingan at will.

They may be able to turn their Sharingan off at will, but how often do they do that? They only do it when they are running extremely low on chakra and can't keep it up anymore. The Rinnegan probably works the same way.

No, my point is that transplanted eyes can't be switched off, while naturally developed ones can.

Sasuke, Itachi, Madara and Obito can switch off their Sharingans at will. Also, I've never seen Obito deactivate his Rinnegan either.

Kakashi and Nagato had their eyes transplanted, and we definitely know that Kakashi can't switch his Sharingan off, therefore, I'm under the impression that Nagato can't either.

Yes Naruto's going to over powered after all he's the star of the show. But not with a rinnegan. that's lame for a hero since he wins over the villain with a TNJ and those tears in his eyes. Rinnegan is only good in the hands of Uchihas who can deactivate it whenever they wants.

It's all in Kishi hands no one can say with 100 percent certainty if He will or will not get the Rinnegan. You can post all the threads on how He will get it or not get it and have Kishi prove you wrong. Wait and see is all we can do.
