The tips of his hair are black and his bangs hang from each side contouring his face. His facial features are smooth and youthful. Umari’s attire consists of black pants and black sleeveless shirt with a red sash tied around the waist and red leather forearm guards. He wears a white coat with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. The Yin\Yang symbol is etched into the shoulders of the jacket, and open toed sandals.

Background Info.
History:

Scars of War

No one knows the tragedies of war better than Umari. He was born in Amegakure in the country of never ending rain. During Umari's early childhood, he witnessed countless atrocities commited by warring countries and each time his village would become the battleground to settle their disputes. eventually the fighting claimed the lives of his entire family. Umari found himself orphaned at the age of 10.

Battle Bond
For days Umari wondered the ruins of his country scavenging for whatever food and clean water he could find until by fate he encountered a 13 year old samurai named Hoshiro. Hoshiro had traveled south and became involved in a skirmish with some missing nins. He was wounded during his escape. The blood from his wounds attracted a pack of hungry wolves and Umari came to Hoshiro's aid. Together they managed to fend off the wolves. Grateful for Umari's help, Hoshiro agreed to travel with him until he could find him a home.

The Reckoning
Umari and Hoshiro travelled the country of Rain for a year. During their time together, theywolves were pursued by the missing nins. When they reached the artic and jagged mountain ranges near the borders of the Country of Iron, they were ambushed by the missing nin shinobi that had been tracking them from the shadows for some time. Hoshiro and Umari found themselves forced into a final confrontation with the ninja. The battle was fierce and the 2 were not strong enough to defeat their opponents. To their great fortune however, the fight had spilled into the province of the Water Monks of Amegakure.

Partings and New Beginings
Gokens was the head of the Water Monks and a master in water style jutsu. He and his monks had been watching the entire battle. Gokens intervened and single handidly defeated the akatuki members. After hearing Umari and Hoshiro's story, it was decided that Umari stay with them. Hoshiro agreed and The 2 gave their heart felt goodbyes before Hoshiro returned to his beloved Sanro. And with that their journey together had come to and end.

The Water Monks of Amegakure
Umari studied under the Water Monks for 2 years. Life amongst the monks was very peaceful and detached from the affairs of the rest of the world. Though the training was harsh, life was good for Umari. As peaceful as his life was, Umari's heart was still troubled. During the quiet of the night, Umari's thoughts would always return to Amegakure and the many horrors he witnessed in his erly youth. One night Umari sought the council of Master Gokens. Umari expressed his desire to bring peace to his country and, upon hearing Umari's words, Gokens offerred his pupil one final lesson.

Return To Amegakure
Gokens tested Umari resolve by facing him in combat. After a hopeless battle against his master, Umari lost. In his defeat, Gokens looked deep within his pupil and saw his unwavering resolve. He gave Umari a final bit of council before allowing him to leave the temple grounds. Umari returned to Amegakure where official orders arrived via courier bird to enroll him into Amegakure's Ninja Academy. When they saw the seal of Master Gokens, Umari was almost immediately enrolled. It only took a year for Umari to graduate to Chuunin level. But his days at the academy came to an abrupt end when he learned that the Amegakure ninja captured a rouge samurai. The captured samurai was Hoshiro.

Umari's Mistake
Out of a sense of loyalty, Umari sought to free Hoshiro. Under the cover of night, Umari staged a rescue and helped Hoshiro escape Amegakure thus branding himself a rouge ninja. During their escape, Hoshiro drove his sword through Umari's chest. Umari fell unconcious from the bloodloss and the trauma of Hoshiro's betrayal.

The Wayward Healer
When Umari woke he found himself in the presence of a beautiful young girl-a medical ninja of Kanohagakure named Nayuri Namikaze. Nayuri was an accomplished medical ninja and sympathysor of Amegakure refugees. Using her medical skills, Nayuri has been treating the sick and wounded refugees of the 3rd Ninja War. she had been caring for Umari while he lay in a coma for the past year. Nayuri too was a rouge ninja. Branded a traitor for defending a small village from other Kanoha ninja, Nayuri had been in hiding in the country of rain using genjutsu to conceal her small cottage along the outskirts of Amegakure. Over the next few months Umari recovered and trained.

The Journey North
Umari, along with the help of Nayuri, has spent the last 3 years tracking Hoshiro's movements. During which he learned that Hoshiro is a member of a group of rouge samurai calling themselves the Iron Dawn. After several run-ins with Iron Dawn samurai, Umari also learned that their base resides in Sanro. Umari now travels north, together with Nayuri, to learn more about the criminal organization and to confront Hoshiro.
