What about Aizen?

Unohana and Zaraki are currently fighting in lowest prison level, the same place where Aizen is imprisoned. So, do you think this battle will set him free? That kinda seems to be Kubo's intention. It will be very interesting if this happens considering the fact that he's been labeled as one of five great war potentials, meaning there are aspects to his power not yet revealed. What do you think Aizen will do after he escapes? Will he join either of the sides or try to use the conflict for his own goals?

But… no: Before we will see him again the Quincy will show up first. Then Kurosaki will need to look for him to get help. He will of course try to get advantage out of it. That is my guess.

Yes, I was always kinda expecting Aizen to be freed as result of someone seeking him out for help, but if he just emerges on his own without any restrictions and demands put on him, his further actions will be quite interesting.

I actually forgot about Aizen being there good thread. I'd love to see a Unohana vs. Kenpachi vs. Aizen fight.
Aizen is always out for personal gain. He may have even helped the Sternretters in the past to get some of the information they have on zanpaktous.

I agree, except that many fans would hate Kubo if he interrupted the Kenpachi vs Kenpachi battle. Regarding Aizen's power, he is still fused with Hougyoku. He might actually go with the evolving thing again. But he doesn't have a zanpakuto now so he might actually seek out the zanpakuto creator to reforge it.

I think you're right but I wonder if they'd be so willing to accept Aizen's help. I guess if things get so bad they would have no choice. Although I don't see Aizen doing anything that doesn't benefit him so I'm sure he'll come up with an alternate plan.

Ichigo might come and ask him for help, in exchange of Ichigo leading him to the zanpakuto creator. No, actually, if Aizen is to be of any help, he needs his weapon, so he will be taken there anyway. Aaaand since he always wanted to enter the Soul King's dimension, he could be very problematic once he does.

Muken is an endless void. It supposedly has infinite space. It doesn't matter if Aizen is down there because it's pretty obvious they wouldn't be fighting next door to him.

They're free to go all out down there. That's why Muken was chosen for their battlefield.
