Now that we know he knows madara we then see him talking to the masked man obito not knowing him by name or face but tells him that he can finally get his revenge but only on the uchiha and dont go anywhere near sasuke... which is why obito knows the story behind itachi and his past and was easy to manipulate sasuke

Lastly the only people that we actually see itachi kill are his parents an that is because he wanted sasuke to see this

Im thinkin that obito was the one that actually killed the whole clan itachi only killing his parents an assumtion but a pretty clean one at that all these events having unfolded after the nine tails of course

i think Kishi does things like this on purpose.(sometimes) for mystery.

That's not Madara, it's Hiruzen.
It looks like long hair due to the close up but it's actually his whole head.
The setting in which the conversation takes place and Danzo's following panel confirm it.

I think the fact that this is a shounen, not a sienen is the reason we didn't see all the innocent families in their protected homes being broken into while women, children, and fathers cry, scream, and beg for sparing their loved ones. Itachi would be the most hated character, not the most popular character, if Kishimoto actually drew it.
