Madara's Eyes... Lost Through The Cracks of Time?

I am not talking about the eyes that Madara gave to Nagato -- the ones that are in the possesion of Obito currently (the rinnegan eyes). The eyes that Madara possessed were Izuna's eyes... not his own original eyes.

I remember when Madara met Obito, Madara has a single sharingan in his eye. Just one. Could that have been his original eye? Or did he jack that eye off another Uchiha? Seems kind of strange that he would have one eye and not two, after giving Izuna's eyes to Nagato.

Madara's original eyes have never been mentioned, but they have been seen through flashbacks. We know that he reached the Mangekyo stage with his original eyes, before he transplated Izuna's eyes into his sockets and got EMS.

So... the question stands... what do you think happened to Madara's original eyes?

True. I know this, but his Rinnegan eyes stemmed from the EMS, which were Izuna's eyes. When you get your brother's eyes, you just don't plop them out of his eye sockets and merge them with yours. That is why Sasuke had to go through surgery. You have to take out your original eyes and get your brother's eye, which unlocks EMS. I assumed that Obito saved Sasuke's eyes somewhere. Probably in the same room where he had all those other Uchiha eyes. But it was never said what became of Madara's original eyes.

Perhaps the two MS merge with each other which could be why the EMS has the design of both the MS. Not sure how though so don't ask..

no idea, but those eyes were almost blind. more importantly, Tobi still has a rinnegan in his pocket dimension.

Most indications in the manga point to the pair merging. Most notably, the monster with 4 eyes shown during Itachi vs. Sasuke and the fact that we have never seen a pair be discarded. One piece of evidence against it is the fact that Sasuke actually had bandages on his face after the process, which implies transplant over merging. There is not enough proof either way to say for certain, but I have always leaned in the direction of the eyes merging.

No.no.no. Madara gave his original eyes to Nagato and kept Izuna's eye's in his head. -.-
And the reason he had only 1 sharingan and 1 rinnengan eye is Senju DNA

The only eye Madara had maybe was from one of the battles of Uchihas with some one where the Uchiha got killed off and Zetsu grabbed one of the eye before letting the enemy know about it. And the dead Uchiha must be having only one eye and the other must be damaged.
Madara's only Sharingan eye is stored in one of the glass where all the other Sharingan is stored.

Both MS get merged to form the EMS so his original eyes are the Rinnegan that he gave to Nagato which Obito has but now Madara has them again due to Edo Tensei.

the eyes might merge but i don't think so ... you have to transplant the eyes, and what good are the other pair if they have no light ...that was the case with madara so his original eyes are kinda useless, with sasuke that's not that case tought so i know tobi has his eyes somewhere.
