Ah! The stuff that the story Naruto is missing.

Well here's my list.

#1. A shapeshifter
- I'm really surprised that this story doesn't have one at all. Ya know, a person who is able to transform into anybody, and copy there abilities flawlessly.

^ Like the "Chameleon" from Spiderman.

^ Or Mystique from X-Men.

#2. Missing Animal Summons
I know. It's virtually impossible to include every single animal from the animal kingdom into Naruto, but the series is missing the following awesome animals:

- Polar bears
- Wolves
- Ligers
- Crocodiles
- Cheetah
- Mythological creatures (Phoenix, minotaurs, unicorn, valkyrie, etc.)
- Bats
- Umbreon

#3. A really formidable practioner of ESP.
Screw Inoichi and Ino, and there entire Yamanaka clan. They're not really strong not to mention that they really don't stand out at all. Sorry. *shrugs* That's just the way it is. The series lacks a really cool person with psychic abilities.

^ A perfect example would be someone like Mewtwo.

^ Or Phoenix/Jean Grey from X-Men.

#4. A "canon character" who uses Dark Release
Yes yes....I am well aware of that bad@rse Hiruko from Naruto Shipuuden Movie 3: Those who Inherit the Will of Fire. He's so cool believe you me! However, he wasn't canon. I guess he's as close as we're going to get.

zetsu may be shapeshifters but they don't copy power, they're weak perfect imitations. that barrier Pain made which imitated team ten is more like it.

i agree that more variety and prominence of summons would be a good thing. i miss Gamatatsu especially, and temari's weasal and kakashi's ninken are very useful. pity there's been a movement towards overwhelming power which makes them obsolete.

Maybe more animal summons would make it a bit more interesting, but Kishimoto-sensei probably doesn't find a good moment to insert those animals in the scene

I don't think anyone in Naruto can manipulate time either....but that power is way too cheap, the story is better off without it.
