Not really, MS and Hashiramas magic cells have nothing to do with a ninjas actual skill, its just a haxx kekkei genkei. If someone like Minato is on par with an EMS user, hes obviously the more skilled shinobi as he doesnt have to rely on a KG.

Fair in the sense that they have activated it through training.....not every uchiha can activate sharingan.....and those who activate sharingan also require to develop it through stages.......by training mainly....strong emotions of losing someone close awaken MS, as for EMS...well it is taken just to prevent blindness...otherwise it's usage basically depends on the user's chakra, power etc. Sharingan maybe clan inherited, but it's activation and effective usage depends on the user's chakra, training, emotions etc etc....

Why wouldn't it be fair? It's a bloodline like the Byakugan, yet people don't complain about the Hyuuga clan.
If the Sharingan and its stages isn't fair, then neither are the other bloodlines or the Bijuu. I really don't understand why some people don't think the Sharingan is fair. "But thanks to the Sharingan they get easy power ups which isn't fair!" Yeah, too bad that they have to go through a traumatic experience to gain the next stages and that some stages can make them go blind - yup, seems like an easy power up to me *rolls eyes*

The Sharingan is just part of a weapon arsenal that some shinobi can use. The Uchiha can develop their Sharingan and use it in battle, the Hyuuga can use their Byakugan in battle and the Jinchuuriki can use their Bijuu in battle, just to name a few examples.

Fairness is one thing, Uchiha pride and arrogance are quite another. Let me put it this way: everyone, including Kurama, who ever met Madara -the quintessential Uchiha- hate his guts. Now, compare that to Hashirama, either the view people had of him as a stoic leader or his relaxed, happy-go-lucky attitude and he has an even more rare power than the sharingan that has been spammed to an equally ridiculous degree!
