Anyone else disapointed with Hiruzen?

When I found out all 4 kage's were gonna be revived, I expected to finally so "prime" Hiruzen, I wanted to see him go on the battle field and kick ass, that way people would stop speculating his abilities and we would see for ourselves. Dafuq Kishi

"Prime Hiruzen" is regular Hiruzen with more chakra and higher attributes such as speed and strength ... And we now have that with Edo so stop complaining just because he doesnt seem like he will live up to the hype. He will forever be in Hashirama's shadow

The only reason Hashirama is revived in his prime is obviously because he died at that point. Look at Tobirama and Minato, they both looked the same from the moment they died, why isn't Hashirama the same?

It's different with Madara, because Kabuto has actually specifically stated that he is special, but I haven't seen Orochimaru make the same statement for Hashirama nor Hiruzen.

It had been obvious for some time that Hiruzen's rep had been retconned (assuming it was ever intended seriously), so I am not surprised or disappointed. This is a good thing, it shuts up Hiruzen fanboys. I mean, why else do you think he was brought back, if not to clearly establish the new pecking order? It's not like he really contributes anything to the backstory, we already know everything he could tell us (Danzo and Itachi showed us his story). He's been edo'd precisely to clarify for fanboys that he's nothing special compared to the 1st (or even the 2nd or 4th as it turns out).

His old age has nothing to do with it. As an edo he has no shortage of stamina, and the difference otherwise should be negligible. We've seen already that 56 year old Hiruzen was powerless against the 9 Tails TBB (so the same age we saw Jiraiya and Tsunade running around in their prime), plus Onoki shows us age doesn't have to diminish techniques (though it does stamina, which again is not a problem for an edo Hiruzen), and Onoki is alot older than Hiruzen.
