Apparently Itachi is more deserving of life than Sakura

results of my social experiment are in and the mass murderer was saved more times than the sweet innocent cherry blossom. nice.

so killing kids and his own mother, torturing and mindraping his brother then coming back and beating him into a coma after torturing him for 24 more hours, helping in the killings of gaara and the other jins, trying to order the murders of kakashi asuma and kurenai, staring blankly as kisame tries to mutilate naruto, coldly trying to get team gai killed by selling intel on them, getting jiraiya murdered by not doing anything to get info about akatsuki to konoha, staring blankly as he sees anko's fading chakra 2 feet away and IGNORES HER (what happened to those who dont care about comrades are lower than scum?), brutally and savagely torturing kakashi for no real reason, having the chance to kill orochimaru and not taking it (why his family but not him?), trying to order the execution of innocent people (kill your best friends sasuke!), and planning to brainwash and enslave an innocent child (KA) to protect only konoha (i guess the other villages can go fuk themselves) and making akatsuki promise not to attack konoha directly (again very selfless right?)

makes him worthy of being saved over a selfless medic who couldnt intentionally hurt any comrade, even criminals and even threw herself onto a poisoned sword and saved a sand ninja she barely knew

not arguing morality here but....let me guess. you want to murder her cos she lied to naruto? cos thats more heinous than genocide? its no less selfless than anything itachi did. or maybe cos you think shes weak and cant contribute. yeah im sure a jutsu that tortures people for 72 hours is more useful in a bad situation than mystical palm.

I don't recall anyone saying that, but I didn't read every reply.

And have you ever heard of remorse, or necessary evils? These terms will help you understand. It's not as if Itachi is a soulless killer who only thought about himself. He was utterly destroyed on the inside to have to kill his whole clan, and the only thing that made it any better was that his beloved brother would live. And that was even bitter, his brother hated him for what he did, and ended up naively killing him for it. He destroyed almost everything he loved for the sake of his brothers future and the future of the village. He did what had to be done, so he could save his brothers life.
And if that doesn't pull any strings then you are just as bad as you think Itachi is. He was always the archangel of Konoha. The remorseful and guilty guardian.

Please show me, other than the Chyo/Sasori fight, a time when she is putting herself in life threatening situations for the sake of her friends as Itachi did.

Honestly in the Itachi flashbacks I was hoping for more insight on the intel Itachi received and possibly more of his double agent persona but I guess not. I had theorized that Itachi came to be Jiraiya's spy quite a while back (the one who gave info to Jiraiya) but that's pretty far fetched now. Although I feel those that hate Sakura for her "lying" but love Itachi's "realism" in killing the Uchiha clan are being slightly hypocritical.

Its a good assumption to say itachi was indeed giving jiraiya info on akatsuki's movements.

Sakura couldn't even stop an akutsuki member by herself. Her healing is sub-par. She hasn't even surpassed her own mentor yet. She's useless in a fight. I'm not saying Itachi's more deserving of life but if I had to go up against 100 people I would pick him over her any day
