[Discussion] No physical way that Doflamingo can beat Aokiji.

Doflamingo has busoshoku haki, meaning he can damage logias.
His wires/strings were shown in the previous chapter, when he fought G5.
Though busoshoku can touch logia's, as robin stated, it can't stop them from reforming, it can only damage the actual body through harming the devil fruit body, rather than moving through it.
On contact with aokiji, the wires/strings will turn into ice and freeze.
There is no way that Doflamingo can beat or touch aokiji, especially when he can survive haki attacks from someone able to deflect a mihawk slash (Jozu).

But in reality, I don't see Aokiji losing, unless he got weaker after his duel with Akainu.

I'm not very knowledgable of things relating to Haki, but I already know that either Aokiji is not going to lose. I don't want to say that he's going to win either because a lot of times, fights in One Piece don't end as simply as that. It could be a draw or one of them could be saved.

While he could harm Aokiji....I doubt Donflamingo can beat Aokiji.....especially with the way he just walked out there and was like, "Hey...get off my pal."

Most of this is just assumptions, but we don't know much with haki and logia users right now. The theory behind it is if you have superior devil fruit mastery, you can avoid the attack and not be hurt. Kinda like how Aokiji avoided being stabbed by Whitebeard. The same goes for haki. There are different levels of haki and if an attack is strong enough, it could hurt them. We really have no proof until we see a battle in action. This will be the perfect battle to see what you need to hurt a logia. It would be really stupid if Don Flamingo was not able to hurt Aokiji. All I have to say is that fight better not get off paneled, and we can't assume stuff until the fight happens and state it as fact.

well aokiji can be manipulated using the strings and kill himself (doubt this will happen , ) and his DF may do more than just puppeteer.
personally i believe aokiji is now a shichibukai , so after the battle donflamingo and aokiji could be revoked from their positions , and donflamingo can easily replace one of the yonko , he is certainly above vice admiral level , and this fight would have an effect on the whole of the new world , i doubt they will fight (aokiji knows the concequences if he kills another shichibukai),(donflamingo has way too much to lose)
